I'm Practical

Lovely, smart, funny Meg of A Practical Wedding is featuring Paul and me today as one of her wedding graduates!

Of the blogs I went to for inspiration and motivation to keep going before our wedding, Meg ranks pretty high up there.

Thanks for the love!

PS-I've been blown away by the response to the last post. Thanks for saying hi!

I found you via Meg's post and I think I might be reading through all your archives now. I'm planning my wedding right now, and it's going to be in my grandparents' backyard. I'm really excited, but then I get a little nervous thinking about some of the logistics...

I'm sure I'll find lots of inspiration here!

I just found you via Meg as well, and just beginning to read through the archives, I can see our weddings have a lot in common.

We have a $10K budget. I am not getting married at home, but in a rustic barn type outdoor setting in early fall. Our save the dates look similar and we're using Vistaprint. I'm going for a rustic vintage look with the decorations. We're having a few small cakes instead of one big one. And here's the kicker - we even have the same dress!

I will definitely be reading the rest of your archives for ideas! Thanks!

I've been inspired by your wedding and blog as well as Practical, and many others to start my own wedding blog. :D

I have a feeling I'm going to be coming up with so many questions as to how you pulled off your wedding, seeing as I'm having a backyard wedding as well. :D

I realize that this post is over a year old, but felt compelled to comment nonetheless.

I came here by the way of Sarah and Matt's 2000 Dollar Wedding.

I've been going through all your posts over the last few days and while elements of Sarah's (and Meg's and Ariel's) blog have been inspiring, none have been moreso to me than yours.
